La Cloue is a beautiful escape from the noise and bustle of cities and modern day life, the family running La Cloue are very helpful and knowledgeable about life in France.

Absolutely charming, spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. The hosts were wonderful and the breakfast with homemade produce was lovely. Perfect location for exploring Lassay, Bagnoles de L’ORNE and other places. My only regret is that I only had the one night stay - if I’m ever in the area again, I would definitely stay longer.

An excellent breakfast was served, bread, jams and yoghurts all being home made. We loved the location so close to Lassay where we visited the market, the rose garden and the château. Tables d’hôtes was available on request. We enjoyed two delicious home cooked meals
