Sadly, unlike the Night at the Museum films the exhibits in our Night in an Art Gallery experience at Le Regardeur didn't come to life...we think. Nevertheless, Le Regardeur gave us one of the most beautiful, quirky, fun and relaxing stays ever. The patrons laissez-faire approach was admirable and trusting. Every traveller should experience Le Regardeur at least once in their lives. To be surrounded by such art and creativity comforts the soul.

The property is extraordinary - the guest rooms being located within the most fascinating gallery of art works. Our room had been decorated by an artist and was a feast for the eyes and senses. Our host Olivier could not have been more attentive, helpful and informative - a delightful gentleman. Our breakfast was beautiful and shared with fellow guests - simple but well executed breakfast. We will certainly be returning.

Very good room in a beautiful old building amongst an art gallery. Olivier, the host was charming and very very helpful, the breakfast was excellent, typically french. Parking was close and easy. Pour moi c'etait parfait ! Merci beaucoup Olivier.

Perfect location right in the centre of St-Remy. Opened only a few months ago with just 4 rooms and all recently decorated in creative, interesting ways with tasteful 'objets art' all around... On the floors above a great art shop. Easy free public parking just 10-15 minutes walk away. Owner/manager was extremely helpful [good recommendations for places to eat]. Nice breakfast in the central open courtyard.

Excellent ultra central location - Olivier was a very welcoming host with a helpful message about parking (free close by) and he produced an excellent breakfast (with generous cups of coffee for me) in the gallery itself which is below the rooms he lets out. Magical NOT having a television- it is an Artistic imaginative, if unusual place.

Wonderful fresh French style breakfast. Wonderful host. Brilliant location. Very quirky hotel… most interesting and fun hotel ever. Part of and above an art gallery so you can treat yourself to something special as a memento too!!! We would definitely recommend.

Great ambiance having a room with local artists work as part of the decor and lighting. Breakfast was excellent, more than adequate, better than we have had in cafes.
