We loved how cozy the chateau was , excellent decor , the fact that there were pre dinner drinks with other guests and that the owner came to join us , also the 3 course dinner was fabulous , the chef also came and introduced himself which was a lovely touch . Breakfast was continental and also excellent , beautifully presented . I Wouid love to stay here again as we only had one night of stay longer . Highly recommend .

A lovely place. Great service. Both dinner and breakfast were first rate. The wine list has some very good ones at reasonable prices. A real fund. We’ll be back.

Our stay was a delightful experience. Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful chateau with all the quirks of an ancient building. Dinner by candlelight was special. Reasonably priced wine.

Wonderful ambiance, lovely hosts and staff and a stunning place to stay. This wasn't our first stay at Chateau St Paterne and we will definitely return. It is always completing charming and an utterly relaxing experience. Dinner was lovely in the beautiful dining room and a stroll round the grounds with pre dinner aperitifs on the terrace with the other guests a really lovely touch.

The setting in the chateau and the format for the evening meal makes for a great evening. The proximity to the motorway and yet perfect peace and tranquility make it an excellent stop over location.

A friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the garden. The chateau is beautifully decorated with interesting objects but also feels very homely.
