Beautifully restored monastery. Super views and lovely pool. Very relaxing. Nice size rooms. Great massage at the spa.

The views, the building and surrounding areas are stunning and the decor & rooms certainly have the wow factor-very clean property and gorgeous feel with the art work! The (very cold) pool was cleaned every day and Ana (who cleaned the pool and offered us spa treatments) was very warm, polite, friendly which felt welcoming and kind to speak with her. When we arrived at 1pm, we were told check in 4pm however after showing the staff my messages with the hotel on booking.com that said we could check in at 1pm, the staff member assured us and our room was ready. We had a double room And our messages with the hotel confirmed a twin room, the staff advised this was not mentioned but i showed the messages and they split our bed into a twin which was highly appreciated, the lady who did this was so kind and we tried to speak over translate so we had a great first impression at this point for accommodating us so quickly from this error. The gorgeous rooms have towels, dressing gowns and facilities for the (powerful) shower which was great and two good sized wardrobes with a safe (which we did not need to use). The beds were super comfortable and soft and high quality with usb plugs next to each side of the bed. A communal Coffee machine and kettle was on the hallway which was a great touch so we could collect our own as we please however the cups and teabags were not replenished until asked and when we asked for milk the staff refused to give us any and exclaimed we should have breakfast in the hotel if we want milk with our coffee. We had no idea what the breakfast menu was or what cost so we avoided that for our full stay. We had heard from other guests in the hotel that it was limited breakfast items and the trout from the evening bistro menu was served which didnt appeal.
