Situated inside the historic walls of Saint-Malo’s old town, this hotel is just 10 metres from the beach.

Great little hotel in a fabulous location within the old city walls in St Malo. There was no lift, but that was made very clear when we booked. We were quite glad to have had a room on the first floor though, as the stairs were quite narrow and steep and we had substantial luggage! The room itself was actually more roomy than I expected, although there wasn’t enough space for more than one (wooden) chair, so one wouldn’t be inclined to spend much time there. The en suite was compact, but perfectly adequate, and had a good shower. The blinds on the window ensured that the room was very dark at night, and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of hangers and hanging space in the wardrobe, and there was a safe, which was a bonus. Breakfast isn’t included in the room rate, but is offered for €13 in the owners’ café bar across the street. We ate there every morning, and it was lovely and good value for money. All the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved the very central and atmospheric location: within the old city walls. The hotel was very near one of the entrances to the ramparts of St Malo which is a fantastic way to explore this wonderful unique city. The hotel was also near the beach. The room was spacious and flooded with light. It was a joy to see the sunshine and THAT view every time we returned to base! We reserved spaces for the brunch on Sunday. The food was plentiful and delicious. The TV had lots of English speaking channels! There was a kettle in the room for those cups of teas when needed.

The location next to the walls of the beautiful old town, so close to the beach with a fantastic sea view is amazing! The staff were very friendly in the hotel and the bar/cafe opposite. Very peaceful too.

The spot is just perfect just next to the rempart and the beach side. The room is well furnished with everything needed. Very good for one or 2 persons
