The Chateau is perfectly situated for staying just outside of Bayeux (which is a delightful city). It’s a beautiful building with lots of character and well cared for outside space. We were fortunate with the weather and so were able to enjoy a glass of wine in the garden before dinner. Our room was large and well appointed, and we had a lovely bathroom - spacious, well thought out and with a very efficient large shower. Vincent and Corinne were very gracious hosts, and Vincent is a wonderful cook. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was exceptional. We also ate there on our first evening and had a very substantial, beautifully prepared table d’hôte meal, which included wine. It was probably the best meal we had in our 2 weeks away, and certainly the best value for money. We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay - something a bit different - and would no hesitation in returning.
