Great location with free parking nearby. Comfortable room and bed. Lighting a little poor. Large shower. Good outdoor seating and pool. No bar. Didn't have breakfast as a good boulangerie in the square that did a breakfast deal.

Hotel located in the northern, quieter part of Ile de Ré : next to the famous Phare des Baleines and to two of the nicest beaches on the island. The breakfast is superb : an array of super fresh, local products in a charming breakfast room or in the equally charming garden in the summer. The beds are of high quality and everything is very clean, with luxury organic toiletries Very quiet. A small crêperie and a nice restaurant (owned by the hotel) are just next door : the restaurant has impeccable, friendly service and a very good rapport qualité-prix. The superette, also next door, is very convenient. The hotel overlooks the market square but it is a plus : lots of beautiful local food for snacks or picnics and a boulangerie to die for.

Super boutique hotel, very friendly staff and owner who obviously takes pride in hi8s establishment and is directly involved with staff training. A real pleasure to spend 4 days here.
