Great breakfast, lovely hosts, perfect position on the river. Able to fish (needed to get a permit from tourist office in St Nicolas des Eaux) beautiful little village, very picturesque. The tourist train passes maybe 4/5 times a day, not during the night, lovely sight.

The hotel is right on the cycle path, with beautiful views on to the river. The room was large and bright, with a very comfortable bed and spacious ensuite. The staff are lovely and helpful. There is a pool, sauna and jacuzzi with lovely outdoor spaces to relax. We also had the table d'hote which was superb. There is also a snack menu of lighter bites. We would definitely stay here again!

I was visiting the area for a couple of days. The location was perfectly located for me visiting my son who is living in the area. The location is quiet, alongside a river with lovely walks. The staff/owners are all very friendly and welcoming. The room was large, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was really excellent and dinner (had on the first evening) was also very good and good value. I made use of the 'spa' facilities on the first day, both the hot tub and sauna (still too early in the season for the swimming pool to be open), which helped make for a really relaxing stay here. There is a railway line behind the property, but over the two days I stayed here I only saw two goods trains, and they certainly did not disturb the overall peace and tranquillity of the location. Worth noting that phone signal is patchy but wifi is good at the property. Highly recommended and will return.
