Resort Overview

Situated in Safaga along the Red Sea coast, this 4-star Shams Resort has a 700-metre private, sandy beach and an outdoor pool. Guest rooms offer a private balcony with a view of the sea or the resort’s lush gardens.
Guests can relax on a lounger by the pool or enjoy water activities in the Red Sea, including scuba diving and windsurfing. The Sham Safaga Resort also features a fitness centre, a sauna and a tennis court.
The air-conditioned rooms are fitted with satellite TV and a minibar. Each has an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower.
International cuisine and a selection of local wines and spirits are served at The Garden Restaurant. Drinks and snacks can be enjoyed at the many bars on site including The Pool Bar and the Palm Beach Snack Bar. The energetic animation team performs live shows and music every evening.

“Good enough budget hotel for short stay.”

Small, quiet, nice beach, good dive centre and great for snorkelling with turtles in shallow water. Nice wee house reef for diving. Bungalows and gardens well kept. No upset tummies = food safe. Entertainment available for those who wanted it but well away from those who wanted peace and quiet.

Clean, quiet, one story bungalows set in gardens were nice. No upset tummy. Good dive centre with nice little house reef. Giant green turtles just metres from shore. Attentive staff who clean and refresh everything quickly.

The beach and the pool are clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a kettle in the room with tea and sugar. You get a free water bottle everyday. The room view is amazing.

Excellent beach , delicious food with a good variety, most of the staff are welcoming , good gym with a sea view, accepted night shows, and accepted rooms. Special thanks to Chief. Sherief in the restaurant.
