Tamanmera is a hidden gem. Everything about it was fantastic. We loved the lodge, staff and food and would definitely go back. It's off the main road but we loved that and hearing the river Sabie below was a real high. Staff were wonderful and everyone friendly.

Everything. The staff dedication, they make you feel like you are the only guest, also enjoyed the upgrade to honeymoon suit, and so much character in the decorations, not forgetting tranquility. I will definitely go back.

We had an 8 hour drive to get to tanemera lodge.Russel and Janice kept checking in to make sure we are safe on the road. We arrived well after supper time but the kitchen staff still waited for us and prepared our supper the moment we arrived. The following day, we were treated with a lovely breakfast and great views of the sabie River below. They made sure our food was in the room for supper after we said we would arrive late again the saturday afternoon Everything about the service and hospitality was amazing

everything is amazing. The staff and owners do everything to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. We felt like we were treated like princesses. The view is stunning, the pool and terraces amazing and the room spacious. Everything was clean and we werent missing anything. It was a perfect stay. The road leading to the lodge looks currently not so beautiful as the trees there were cut down but soon there will be new trees planted so that is just a temporary thing. It doesnt affect the stay or view.
