Hotel Overview

In a quiet location in the Glemm Valley, Hotel Austria - inklusive Joker Card im Sommer is 500 metres from Hinterglemm and 1 km from Saalbach. It offers a spa area, a ski school and a ski lift are 400 metres away.
The spacious rooms overlook the mountains and include a small seating area, a flat-screen LCD TV, and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Most of the rooms boast a balcony.
Spa facilities at the Austria Hotel include a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, and 2 infrared cabins. Guests benefit from a ski storage room and free Wi-Fi access in public areas.
The half-board option is available during winter season, including a buffet breakfast with hot, cold and organic dishes and a dinner buffet with salad buffet. 2 times a week a themed buffet is offered for dinner.

“A cosy stay with very helpfull staff at Hotel Austria, located between Hinterglemm and Saalbach”

The location of the hotel is between Hinterglemm and Saalbach. A bus stop towards both directions is available in front of the hotel. Car parking space is available around the hotel, but all outside. We booked a family room for four people and we received two extra seperate beds instead of a bunker bed, which was a nice surprise. Bathroom was also big enough, same for the available closet space. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpfull. Breakfast hours are quit busy but we always had a table. Breakfast itself has a variety of choices including fresh orange juice. The wellness area is modern and cosy. Sauna, Infrared, steam cabin, plenty of towels and great relax rooms. The swimming pool, a bit peculiar, is on the backside of the hotel across the small street and covered (glass). Due to the heated water, there is a lot of steam and almost impossible to see the entire room. Further on the pool was quite big and warm enough. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The breakfast and dinner buffets were great. Every night was a different themed dinner. Great drinks prices too( those were extra, not part of half board in ski season) Bus stop to Saalbach and Hiterglemm right out side hotel. Ski locker room was great. Super friendly staff, from front desk to waiters, all great!
