The property was delightful and perfect for our minimoon. Paul and Alan were fabulous hosts and breakfast was fantastic. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a long weekend away, and a short walk in to Rye is ideal.

The attention to detail, the views, the location, the hosts, the room, the amazing breakfast, the night cap, the quiet surroundings, and only a short walk into Rye town. We will be going back in July 2025⁵

From the moment you approach the property on the route in you feel special. Huge Iron gates with the most beautiful building beyond them in impeccable condition. The best thing about the property is its owners Paul and Alan. They are simply total experts and go well beyond anything you would expect. They are kind, caring and their attention to detail is clear in everything they do. From the initial brief to saying goodbye. It’s not just a stay it is an experience.
