It’s good but it’s a shame kids not free. We are 5, 4 adult 1 child. They give us 1 family room- 2 double bed and 2 single bed. Plus 1 single room. We don’t really use the single room because we all fit in the family room. We could save £53 for that single room.

Room adequate and clean but as other reviews said the hotel is in need of redecoration as it is looking tired. I would have been disappointed if I had paid more for the room, but as it was I feel I got what I paid for.

Nice hotel in an excellent position. Staff were friendly and helpful. As always seaside hotels and guesthouses can be a little tired. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the communal area was modern and clean.

The hotel was fine, it was obviously a grand hotel in its time, but today is looking pretty tired. Having said that, it was clean and very good value. Got to say out of all the staff Luke stood out, nothing was to much trouble for him, and was always happy to help a real asset for the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived around 11am to drop our bags off then was going to come back at check in time but advised our room was ready so let us in early which was great! Yes rooms need a bit of a facelift but very clean and large spacious bedrooms. We had breakfast one morning too and this was very good quality, especially the bacon and sausage on our full english. Would happily stay again.

Friendly helpful staff, excellent location, fabulous building, clean and comfortable. Receptionist Cheryl was brilliant….. Conservatory and garden. Value for money!
