The hotel is right by Bald Sayd (also spelled Balad Seed), with an incredible view over the village and mountains - absolutely stunning. They have a nice terrace where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings (you can also get cold and hot drinks from the ‘Yolo’ cafe on site, they do really good coffee!). Our room was spacious and clean, with good AC and hot water. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. It’s perhaps the best hotel in the area (which is great for either hiking or doing the Snake Canyon). PS: I’ve seen reviews that describe the drive to the hotel as “dangerous” or incredibly difficult. I would take this with a pinch of salt. You should be aware that the road is unpaved and can be quite steep in certain parts, and I agree that you need a 4x4. But as someone who drives about 3-6x per year, mostly when on holiday, I have to say that at no point did I feel unsafe or thought it’s a very difficult drive. In fact, the drive to and from the hotel was one of our highlights - you drive through mountains and riverbeds, and it just felt like a little fun adventure with amazing views.

We recommend this hotel in Bald Sayt. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean. The hotel has an exceptional view over the valley and village and is at walking distance from the village. They also have a good coffee shop and excellent food. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It's a good place to rest and enjoy a nice view of the village. We had dinner at the restart, and the meal was delicious. There is a coffee shop where you can have a coffee and continue the ride.
