“Great stop-over”

Spotless and huge room with a king-sized bed. Everything we needed for a one-night stop over en route from Bangor to White Mountain Forest Park. The folder of the history of the property was a really interesting and a nice touch.

The room was very large and the bed was huge! Very comfortable, very quiet and beautifully clean. The owner were very helpful.

I was going to arrive after 1000pm. I called to let the owners know of my situation and they informed me that it was OK and the husband will stay up and wait for me. I arrived at 1030pm and the husband was at the door with the room key for me. To be honest when I pulled into the driveway I was skeptical. Big barn with attached house didn't seem like a comfortable place to stay.. When we entered the room, holy cow wasn't I impressed. The room was wide open and had that country like setting. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Also, I loved the history book with pictures of how this place has grown from what it was. This was in the room. Very interesting stuff.....We were not able to enjoy the outside as we had an event to be at at 730am the following morning. But from the little time and experience we had there I would highly recommend this place. We are planning a weekend this summer at this place so we can enjoy more of what it has to offer..
