Very friendly, helpful, hosts. A well equipped, albeit 'basic' apartment above a rural 'family' restaurant/event venue. Restaurant provides relatively good value, traditional, food (and American style burgers if that's your thing....) Good value (for Switzerland !!) Good location from which to visit Lucerne, central lakes and Zurich,

Great hosts. Very committed to make your stay as comfortable as possible, discreet and practical, but also available for a nice chat if you wish and to learn about some of the local culture and habits. The room is spacious with a magnificent terrace and provides all the commodities you need. Hiking tours (with or without snowshoes) at your doorstep. The hosts have plenty of good advice in case you want that. The service and the food in the restaurant is excellent.

The location is truly a picturesque village. Gorgeous meadows and snow capped peaks in the distance. Depends on the time of the year, there would be snow on the property too. Property is very cosy and the couple Beatrice and Armin are warm and friendly speak fluent English. This makes communication easy. They even offered to drop us to the station due to heavy rains. Wonderful experience.
