The place is amazing and unique, even though it is an old castle/palace, it is well maintained and very pleasant, in the middle of a silent garden and only 5 minutes to the medieval city gate. The staff is always smiling, cordial and willing to help. The breakfast with many bio and homemade options.

A place with great character. Located near a beautiful stream. Required good steps climb to go to the city but this is part of the magic. Good continental breakfast.

The room was nice, the grounds are beautiful, and the old town is a quick walk away. We often prefer to not be directly in the busy part of town when visiting new cities and this was the perfect distance. Close enough that it was extremely convenient but not loud. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was great. Couldn't ask for more.

The grounds, building, and room had a lot of character and was really nice. The grounds are quite big which was nice to explore and the balcony area was also really nice that overlooked the trees. The hotel was also just a nice short walk from the centre.

Location is great if you are fit - just need to walk up a number of stairs or a long winding road to the start of the town as it's just outside the city walls and is near the river.
