This family-run, non-smoking guest house (Pension Hofmann-Schmölzer in Rothenburg ob der Tauber) is located in the historic old town. They are then only: 6-5 minutes walk from the historic market square. The main train station Rothenburg 6-5 minutes walk from us. Public parking is available 30-60 meters from us (for a fee).
All rooms are equipped with beds suitable for allergy sufferers, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, wooden furniture and chairs. A varied breakfast is available in the main building (upon booking) of the Pension Hofmann-Schmölzer. This is located just 30 metres from the annex building, where most of the rooms are located. The Pension Hofmann-Schmölzer offers a good starting point for hiking and cycling tours. Free parking for bicycles is also available, and hiking/cycling maps are also available for you to plan.

The location was fantastic! Easy access to the centre of old town, the car park and entrance to climb the wall. Breakfast was perfect each morning. The owner was lovely! Very attentive and helpful with our needs (boiling water each evening for a cuppa - no problems!).

Fantastic location within the walls of this lovely old town. The street was very quiet. Parking available nearby cost a mere €6 for a day Clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Excellent €8 breakfast would sustain us for exploration of this beautiful old town on the Romantic Route in Bavaria, definitely worth seeing. Good coffee. The host was very helpful, particularly with explaining about parking, things to see, where to eat in town. Would happily stay there again.

Fantastic place to stay within the city walls. Parking in the P4 is only €6 for 24 hours. Great staff and recommendations for things to do and places to eat. 10 out of 10, being one of the best experiences I have had.
