The Hotel is located in the Old Town, so you must park your car outside the walls - approx 300 - 400 metres away......and you get to enjoy walking up the stairs (carefully) to your room, which is very comfy. Just watch your head on the beams. It is a short walk to the main area and really glad we stayed 2 nights. The breakfast has to be seen to be believed - incredible. The staff were very friendly and we were sad to leave so soon - would have liked to stay longer.

Perfect location, just outside the busy area. Very cute and lovely decorated hotel and room. It really has a special feeling and charm. Breakfast was very good! A lot of choice and everything was really fresh.

The very cosy interior! The amazing breakfast spread! My second visit to Rothenburg in 2 years and this hotel is a big reason why. We visited during the Christmas markets this time and location is literally 5 mins away

I think that of all the reviews that I have ever written, this one is the hardest! Is so many ways this hotel completely exceeded our expectations and should get 10++ and was amazing, yet in other ways it disappointed. The building itself is absolutely incredible and the furniture and furnishings are the most amazing that I have ever seen and are totally unique. I would happily have paid money just to look around the rooms and it was a real pleasure just to be there. In the morning the breakfast was amazing, and I will say now that I have never used that word to describe a hotel breakfast. The lady serving was lovely and cooked eggs to order. I always appreciate that. But the amount of food available, the choice and range of food and the quality of the food was the best that I have ever experienced. It was just incredible. But not only that, as it was impossible to eat everything, the hotel provided boxes to take away what you couldn't eat, so they provided a great lunch as well as a great breakfast. I have never experienced this before anywhere in Europe. I apologise for repeating the word but it really was amazing. It's a shame that I cannot give the breakfast 20 out of 10! The location of the hotel to the town is also fantastic and the town itself is probably one of the prettiest, if not the prettiest, in Europe. It's just adorable.
