Check in was easy and friendly. The hotel is very close to many good restaurants and coffee shops. The room was clean but a bit cramped - I was expecting better for the price I paid.

The hotel is perfectly located for those who want to concentrate on seeing both the Vatican and Rome. The rooms are quite spacious and well equipped. The beds are comfortable. The cleaning of the room is just perfect - the maids do their job at 5+! Soundproofing is good with the closed windows.

Breakfast was great and they also had a whole selection of gluten free breakfast items on request. A variety if sweet and savory items yo choose from. Bed extremely comfortable. Bathrobes very much appreciated. Great location well connected to amenities and transit.

Very clean hotel! We've looked for an emergency replacement hotel after hitting cleanness problems with the previous one, and after the long night of search we've found Starhotels Michelangelo -- and wasn't disappointed. Clean bedroom, clean bathroom, no odd smells in the rooms. Comfortable large bed; shower amenities provided. Coffee machine and tea pot in the suite was convenient. In our room the curtains did not fully blocked the sun, but we asked the help form the reception and facilities team came and reattached curtains another way so they were almost fully blocking the sun out, so we were able to have a good sleep. The ventilation system able to refresh the air over night: we had two periods, at first when we almost unable to feel the air it kept about CO2 about 1200ppm, and few days later (as it get cooler outside) the ventilation started to work stronger and kept about 850ppm over night, so we could sleep without need to open windows. The location is near vatican and in 5 minutes from train station, so it is easy to get from and to the airport (FCO at least). The sweets on breakfast was awesome. The rest of the breakfast... Not so.

Room was great. Choice of pillows, dressing gowns, clean and every provisionto make a good stay. Staff really helpful. Eating in the restaurant was very convenient as there was a massive storm over Rome. Room was very quiet. Good size. Bed really comfortable.
