The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect – just a stone's throw away from St. Peter's Square, which was the main reason we traveled to Rome. It made sightseeing so convenient, as we could easily walk to all the key attractions. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a delightful selection of fresh, delicious options that fueled us for a day of exploration. As for the room, it was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, providing a peaceful retreat after a busy day.

Location was really good. Staff are smiley, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast spread is simple and tasty. Recommended especially if you have early tour of Vatican City and St Peter's Basilica.

location was ideal for St Peters and the other sites. The roof terrace overlooking St Peters was wonderful. breakfast menu and staff really good.

Authentic and quiet hotel on a top location near the Vatican without the rush of the rest of the city. Walking distance to city center and other transport options. Comfortable, clean and well equipped rooms( some are smaller). Good breakfast and very nice rooftopterras. Overall very professional and friendly staff.

Excellent location but it was the staff. They were excellent and very special. They made our trip from breakfast every morning to drinks/food on the terrace. As an example when my wife left her jacket at breakfast the staff in the breakfast room went out of their way to find her Thank you❤️

The staff is pleasant and helpful. The room is tidy. The location is great, the Vatican is very close by, and other attractions in Rome can be reached in about 30-60 minutes on foot.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Residenza Paolo VI, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a stone’s throw away from St. Peter's Square, making it the perfect base for exploring the Vatican and Rome’s many attractions. The building itself is lovely, exuding a historic charm that fits perfectly with its surroundings. Inside, the rooms were comfortable, and I was particularly impressed with the air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during the warm summer days. The highlight of my stay was the incredible view from the terrace. Watching the sunset over St. Peter’s Basilica while enjoying a drink was an experience I’ll never forget. Speaking of drinks, the bartender was fantastic—super professional, friendly, and truly made our trip special with his exceptional service. The food at Residenza Paolo VI was also top-notch. We decided to have dinner at the hotel one evening, and it was an excellent choice. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend dining in at least once during your stay. Overall, Residenza Paolo VI offers the best location in the Vatican with superb amenities and service. It’s a place I would gladly return to on my next visit to Rome.
