The beds were extremely comfortable and the staff was nice and helpful. The location is perfect as it’s in the quite part of Trastevere but just few steps away to the main square, shops, market, bus and tram station to Rome best attractions. Also the terrace was such a nice place to enjoy a nice coffee and breakfast before heading out for the day!

We really liked the location. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The manager was very helpful and there was another member of staff on site at all times who was also very helpful. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but the room where it was served, up on the first floor, looked bright and welcoming and there was an attractive terrace. Guests were welcome to sit out there in the evening too.

The location was good, with a lot of good restaurants nearby. It was only a short walk to get to some of the most popular places in the city, such as the Pantheon. Room number five was great, pretty spacious and we loved that we could easily access the beautiful terrace. A small and cozy hotel with a good atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend to stay here for sure!

Central location and quite convenient with your own key, so you can come and go as you wish. The rooms were very basic, but didn’t lack anything of importance. A cheap option to stay in the middle of the city.

Because of an emergency I needed a one-night stay. Hotel Carmel was so comfortable and cosy, exactly what I was hoping to find for a single traveler staying one night. The room had a lovely view and little table outside to enjoy it. The staff were so kind and welcoming, I truly appreciated their friendly faces and conversation!

Reasonably priced room with fine rooftop breakfast. But ultimately it was the fantastic staff that makes the place. Sweet, helpful, intelligent, warm and humorous.
