Beautiful hotel, though located at the end of the lane. Near to Colosseo subway. Very walkable to Collosium and all the historical ruins in the vicinity. Well lit even late at night, so it is safe. Police and military staffs are stationed around the Collosuem, so there is a much ease. So many eateries, pizzeria, and a 24 hour supermarket in the next lane. Staffs at reception are impeccable and so helpful. Lovely big towels Have bidet

The staff at the hote Capo d` Africa Collosseo in Rome, Italy were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful, and always available. The bed was super comfy. I will always stay at this location when traveling to or through Italy.

The location was fantastic, walking out of the hotel into side streets of smaller local bars and places to eat and then a 5 minute walk gets you to the Colosseum and beyond. Close to the train station (20 min walk) which was helpful as we took a train to Florence. The staff were so helpful, helping us to plan our days and transport when we moved on.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great locations, Comfortable room and decent bathroom. Rooms a little bit bland in terms of design, but we're comfortable. All in all a great stay, especially for that price.

Big enough room (308), comfortable bed, decent shower. Maid service daily for bed and shower laundry. Decent location - 7 minutes to Coloseum. Several shops and restaurants in the area. Breakfast quite good. Plenty of cold selections, cereals, fruit, yogurts, pastries, with some hot food e.g. scrambled egg, European style sausage and bacon, pancakes, etc. from buffet. We liked staff bringing coffee to your table when you walk in. Breakfast from 7-11 and never any bother getting seated. One part of the restaurant area gives a view of the Collosseum at breakfast. We ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings and the food was great, as was the service provided. I did not get his name but the restaurant supervisor was very good, particularly with our choice of wines and food recommendations. This was our second stay in 5 years. If you have the option, pay the extra and choose room 416 (we stayed there last time) - it has its own private terrace and view of the Colosseum. It was already booked for this trip - I would choose it if it was available in the future. The Forum is 10 minutes walk away. Vatican and St Angelo's Castle was 35 minutes - we got a taxi to them then walked back. The Pantheon is well worth a visit- pretty spectacular. If you are visiting the Colosseum, Forum or Vatican make sure you bring photographic ID as they are quite strict at the entrance points.

Everything was exceptional. We stayed for 5 days at this hotel in Rome and everything from our room to breakfast, and the nice infused water in the lobby was excellent. We had a very good stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Breakfast was great, and the staff was very attentive and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable, air conditioning was excellent. I would certainly stay at Capo D'Africa next time my partner and I visit Rome.
