Located in a nice neighbourhood. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast rather basic but all you need really. My air con seemed to work only partially but all in all a great stay. Especially the location is worth it if you don't mind a little stroll to the tourist spots 🙂

Super location in quiet and leafy suberb. Close enough to walk to major attractions. Its an old quaint villa set in nice gardens.

In the end, this was an excellent experience. No one wants a problem; but, once one arises what matters is how the problem is handled. Justino handled the problem surrounding the reservation with the professionalism and timeliness you would expect of one who has earned the "Clefs D'Or". Hotels after all are indeed their staff: the Aventino is a class act. Lastly, dinner at the sister hotel San Pio restaurant, set in a beautiful garden, was outstanding.

This was all-round a lovely place to call 'home from home' for a week while attending a conference. The hotel and the neighbourhood were super-peaceful (super-important to me). I was not once disturbed at night by other guests or traffic. The neighbourhood is a lovely one, and although not absolutely downtown, it is still historic and an easy 20-30 minute walk to the most famous attractions. There are also some lovely local dining options down the hill. Breakfast was simple but a good selection of high-quality things, and with good coffee. Our room was quite small, but comfortable and spotlessly clean. All the staff were always kind and friendly.

It all started off with the wonderful Francesco, who made our check in so smooth and filled with laughter. We were then in awe of our room, the beautiful balcony, the comfy bed, the complimentary water, and the brilliant bathroom! The breakfast was a good continental breakfast, with great service, and a lovely patio. The area of Ripa is so interesting, historical mixed with walkable distant to fun nightlife and wonderful views ! Altogether, we would love to return !!
