The building is pretty and historical,the staff very friendly. Cleaning was on point,towels were changed after 2 days. Tasty breakfast.

LOVED THE BREAKFAST STAFF! The men that served us breakfast were smiley and chatty and polite, would always say hi to us around the hotel. The room was very basic but affordable.

The receptionists were very kind! We arrived early in the morning, handed in our luggage and set off to see the city. In the afternoon we went back to occupy the room, which was exchanged for a double bed compared to the booking (2 beds). We were happy for him at first, but the 1 big blanket was uncomfortable while sleeping. The mattress was comfortable. Wifi on the first floor worked perfectly. Breakfast on the roof terrace is a pleasant experience in the sun. Although the selection is not large, I think it is serviced thanks to covid so I had to line up several times. I found the tables a little small, there must be tables outside in good weather. Overall, easy access by subway to downtown attractions. If we go to Rome again, we will definitely stay here.

Great location within walking distance to the colosseum, very friendly and helpful staff who guided us around Rome by making us aware of public transport routes and times etc. Breakfast was nice and the rooms were clean and just as expected, basic rooms however perfect for a short city break

The hotel is full of character as it is attached to the Basillica of the Holy Cross of Jerisalem, and it feels like you are walking through the halls of a monastery. The rooms are sparsely furnished but adequate. The beds are comfortable. The roof terrace provides lovely views across to St John in Lateran Basillica.

The room was large, the roof top balcony was large and had great views, and was not much used by other guests. Free breakfast was good to have, and the location was good for Rome's sights.. The staff were all really nice.
