I stayed there only for one night when I was in Rome for two academic meetings. Everything was fine, the room was extremely clean, very big, the bed was very comfy. And the breakfast was very good as well. Then after breakfast I went down to the reception for check-out and wanted to pay the city tax of my colleague which was staying in another room. I just paid two city taxes since our rooms separately were pre-paid before we even came to the hotel. After I paid the city taxes for both of the rooms, I wanted a receipt of obviously my room for reimbursement. But then lady in the reception told me that she cannot do that because she already created a receipt together with the room WITHOUT ASKING me at all. And then she was insisting that (she didn’t say sorry and try to correct her mistake) but literally insisted that since I bought two city taxes she did that. She meant basically that it was MY MISTAKE. Because I paid two city taxes, this is really UNBELIEVABLE!!! She rejected to provide two separate receipts but then my colleague who is Italian came down to the reception and understood immediately what was going on. The reception lady was treating me like to be honest not a client - still insisting that it was MY MISTAKE in a rude way even I should say, just because maybe I am NOT ITALIAN? In the meantime, another lady at the reception was saying to another client that they cannot make the invoice, there was another problem as well it seems. I don’t know, but really a bad experience from my perspective although they sent us the separate emails later on. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Had a lovely stay at Domus Australia. This hotel was in a lovely area which felt very safe and was a walking distance to all major attractions. The hotel is part of an old Monastery and has a pretty courtyard. Our room was basic but all we needed and the beds were comfortable . The rooftop restaurant where we had our breakfast was lovely. Nice restaurants very close by which was good for the evenings after a busy day seeing the sights!

+ Location: close to main train station Termini, near good coffee shops + 24h reception: can everytime check in and leave your luggage after check out + territory: nice view, bar in the garden, restaurant on the terrace +- rooms: big room with very big bed, cabinet. But the furniture is old. - noise: from the street and corridor. -+ breakfast: there is something, but not the best quality

We loved the hotel very much. It's in an amazing location with a walking distance to the old town and has many lovely restaurants nearby. + Breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and our room was spacious, warm, and clean!

The staff welcome was exceptional. We arrived early and he immediately started phoning around to find out when the room would be ready informing housekeeping we'd arrived. He took our baggage so we could come back when the room would be ready but just as we were ready to go for lunch the room was ready! Impressive. The location is great as not far from Termini so when we did check out the following day we could leave our luggage and then pick it up just before getting our train. The place is modern and clean and has a very calm atmosphere. The room was fabulous, large, huge bed, lovely linen, fabulous bathroom. Breakfast had a great choice and very friendly and helpful staff. Just superb!
