All the key elements were spot on. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed and a generously sized bathroom. The staff were excellent, professional and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal.

The best thing about the hotel is its location close to the Piazza Navona. The building is a not always successful combination of the old and the new, an ancient building with both modern and ancient decorative art. We did have some issues during our stay, but I must commend the Front Office Manager, Senor Simone Sanna, who was most helpful in improving our situation and responding to our issues. To compensate us for our problem, the hotel manager, a lady whose name I did not record, reduced our bill by 20% per day at checkout and paid our taxi fare to the station when we departed. So, although we has some issues, the management responded very quickly and effectively. The breakfast also has some issues, but the presence of a live harpist every day at breakfast was lovely.

The hotel is centrally located and is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and rooms large. Our bathroom was huge. Air conditioning terrific. Breakfast lovely - great variety of food and chef on hand.

This is probably one of the most iconic hotels in Rome and a must stay for anyone willing to experience the true spirit of the city. The courtesy of the staff at reception is outstanding setting the standard for any other luxury hotel in the neighbourhood. Will definitely come back.
