Breakfast - as for UK - pretty good. Old used hotel. If you are looking for a place to rest and sleep - it is OK in its price.

Staff, very attentive and helpful, food delicious and plentiful, room,spacious; but whilst the bathroom radiator was on 24 hours, there was only a small electric fan heater in bedroom; and as it was December, maybe the radiator could have been on.

Very convenient to walk into the town centre as long as you are reasonably fit. It is quite a steep climb to get get back up to the hotel.

We stayed in a deluxe room (room 106) on 25 December after staying in a basic room (room 103) a week earlier. It was approximately £11 more but was well worth it. The room as spacious and very comfortable. The TV is also far more user friendly than the one in the basic room. The view from the window is vastly superior too. We were checking out a 5 am so did not have the breakfast but when we stayed the week before we did have breakfast, which was fine. The staff are friendly, the hotel is very clean and the prices are so reasonable. For a budget hotel you could not ask for more.

The long & deep bath tub was perfect to have a lovely long soak. I absolutely loved having a bath.
