We arrived late after a long day travelling, check in was smooth and host was friendly and welcoming, our room was comfy and cosy. Everything you could need was provided. Check out was also smooth and we went on our way well rested and happy.

Dinner was to die for. It was a carvery and was absolutely first class. The bed was a very large bed and was very comfortable. It was generally quiet, however, the noise from the road was not so good. I spoke with the owner (general conversation) and he was a very likable, helpful & friendly chap

After an eventful day in york, we were more than happy to arrive at the hotel. Straight away, we were made to feel welcome, and everything was explained for us to settle in very easily. Feeling quite hungry, we decided to try the carvery. It was very well presented and tasted amazing. The beef melted in your mouth. Could not fault our meal at all. After a good night's sleep, unfortunately, we woke up to a blanket of snow. We were going nowhere till it was safe enough for us to do so. At no point were we pushed into thinking we had to leave and were left to hold our room keys with all facilities available until the time was right.

We just slept there, we did not eat as we were meeting friends in Harrogate. The staff were very friendly and Josh ensured we had all we needed.
