The breakfast was superb. There was huge choice and nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food couldn't be bettered. The very large room was always warm and comfortable. The beds were the biggest I have seen. The B&B was very close to the main entrance to Fountains Abbey. (But note it is closed on Fridays in Winter).

Beautiful rooms in idyllic setting. Great attention to detail and wonderful breakfasts. Maggie is extremely warm and welcoming and a great source of advice on the local area. Highly recommend.

a peaceful haven just outside Ripon, Our room was in a converted 18th century smithy, beautiful shower room, extra large comfortable bed, windows look out onto open countryside, breakfast was served across the courtyard in the main farmhouse, good selection on the menu, full Yorkshire was exceptional, beautifully cooked and very pleasant lady serving and looking after you.
