The stuff was really nice especially the guys at concierge that were very helpful with everything that we asked them.the lobby was clean and the stuff at the lobby were nice. The beach in front of the hotel was a good thing. It's one of the few hotels with a big nice pool on the ground and not on the rooftop.

The close proximity to a very quiet beach, the outdoor swimming pool was a good size and the warm water temperature excellent. The room was really comfortable and the beds excellent. The hotel felt very safe too.

Absolutely brilliant Hotel, staff and facilities! The location is brilliant also having a private beach. It’s near another beach nearby, lots of bars and restaurants half hour walk or 5 minute taxi. Daniel at reception upgraded us to an ocean view room which was exceptional, we would wake up every morning to the sunrise which took our breath away. Great start to our mornings. Daniel was exceptional, professional and friendly. Our room was a large size with a large balcony. We had twin beds and they were large doubles super comfortable! Best nights sleep :) They have a spa on the 4th floor with steam and saunas rooms too. Can’t fault the hotel at all during our stay, all staff were friendly and spoke English fluently.

This is my second time at Sheraton in Rio and I absolutely think is the best hotel in Rio! I have stayed already in many different places, but the fact that inside Sheraton you have everything makes a big difference in a complex city like Rio. The rooms are big and super comfortable. Staff are friendly and always willing to help… Concierge’s are super knowledgeable and helpful. The fact that they have many restaurants inside the hotel and also the pool service is very cool. The beach in front of the hotel is so nice! You don’t need to leave the hotel if you don’t want to (although would be a big mistake, since you are in Rio 😉). It’s also possible to go for a nice walk/cycle from the hotel to Leblon beach, which is super nice! I specially recommend this hotel for foreigners visiting Rio for the first time that seek a more comfortable experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. What really stood out was the friendliness and availability of the staff to always meet our needs. A special thanks to Priscila and Gabriel in the main Concierge Desk, and Joanna at the Club Reception. But all the staff in the dining areas, the Club Area, reception, housekeeping and porters, were outstanding and were the core reason for the elevation of this hotel to 5-stars. The hotel has some wear to it but the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The pool area is large and can accommodate a large number of guests. I would advise to pay the extra for the Club experience. It is really, really worth the money. There's a separate breakfast area and they have a happy hour between 5-7 pm with snacks and drinks. You can also use the space to get some work done or chill if the weather is not inviting to go out. The hotel is a short walk away from Leblon and Ipanema, maybe 10 minutes. They also have a sizeable beach right in front, but it is not private. All the meals we had at the hotel were absolutely delicious.

We booked a club rate, which gave us access to breakfast in the Club Room, which was always very good. Evening Drinks and snacks in the Club Lounge was also very well catered for. The options for restaurants and casual dining is very good, ranging from light lunches around the pool to buffet and grill choices.

It is a nice hotel with a pool and access to the beach. I like that the beach is a little more secluded and felt less at risk of theft. The pool area is nice with a view of the sea and mountain area. The staff were generally attentive and pleasant.
