The rooftop and the view. Good modern air conditioning. Comfortable beds. Kept our bags after check out and gave me a jacket back I had left behind in the room when we came to pick up the bags. Attentive and friendly staff.

Location is perfect, on the quiet and safe end of the Copocabana strip, near the Fort and Ipenema area too. The breakfast was excellent, with a great range of savoury and sweet and fruit options, and they make your eggs to order too! The roof top pool and bar is quiet and peaceful, with a fantastic view!!

I didn't have opportunity to try breakfast but it looked amazing and seemed very popular with plenty of guests in the restaurant. The room was very clean, neat and tidy, very spacious with most things you'd expect in a hotel of a similar rating. I was surprised at the lack of coffee making facilities in the room - perhaps it's more of a British thing, buy there was nothing for making any kind of hot drink. In their defense I didn't crave a coffee enough to enquire at the front desk and I do know that coffee is available in the communal guest areas; where you would be 'purchasing' a coffee. The shower was amazing, the mini bar prices were the usual over-inflated prices, but interestingly you had to check on the online portal it scan a QR code to get any price lists - though the portal does open immediately after logging in to the complimentary WiFi - which was impressively fast for a hotel of it's size, testing well Above 40+Mb both times I checked. The smart TV was a 'Google TV⁷ setup built in to a relatively budget TCL screen. This meant that actually trying to use it was sometimes painfully slow and with all the power in the room shutting off immediately when you remove your card from the slot on the wall the TV needed a few minutes to get going after each time this happened. The air conditioner worked well, although not the worst, but with a lot of functionality available. Plenty of sockets, including international ones at the desk however only 1 that was close to the bed and that would require you unplugging the lamp - not great if you want to use your device in/on the bed and charge it at the same time.

Great location, the view on Capacabana beach was amazing. Wonderful, very helpful and kind staff. Delicious breakfasts. Clean, nice rooms.

Very comfortable and modern rooms. Very nice rooftop pool, although more for relaxing than actual swimming with a very reasonably priced bar. Lovely location right on the beachfront

The Orla Hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed in Brazil! The location is perfect! you cross the street and you are at the beach! There are great restaurants nearby too. The breakfast is very ample and complete with so many options, you can eat something new every day! Fresh local fruit like papaya and mango, great cakes and breads, all delicious! The staff at Orla are terrific, very friendly and accommodating in so many ways. They really care to make sure you are safe, even taking me to my Uber, making sure it was the correct car. Was in Rio for Carnaval last weekend, the greatest show on earth! How pleased I was to return to my comfy bed in the hotel, to rest in a quiet room, and rejuvenate in the pool at the wonderful Orla Hotel!!
