Very friendly and helpful staff - special shoutouts for Bianca checking in daily to make sure everything was okay and Neto for baking a cake on my birthday and making the best drinks behind the bar! Very sociable atmosphere in the hostel with the bar and pool areas. Great location in relation to the beach, shops, and restaurants nearby.

The Ipanema Beach House is really great located in the heart of beautiful Ipanema. The area feels absolutely safe, great restaurants around and the beautiful beach. Many very kind and open people stayed there at the same time. Even as a lone traveler you make new friends easily! The pool deck and front area are incredible to hang out under beautiful tropical trees with lots of singing birds and mangos hanging on the trees☺️ The girls only room is very spacious, has a balcony, a hammock, and a separate bathroom!

Great hostel with cute terrasse, nice yard and back garden with a pool, very well located. You can hear the birds in trees singing and even see small monkeys around! They have a lovely cat. The staff is super kind and really helpful. Most of them speak a very good English and the others try there best to communicate easily. The several options for breakfast and rest of the menu are fresh, good and very affordable. They also have some nice private rooms. Definitely the perfect place to stay in Rio!

Great location and facilities. It's really beautiful! Great showers and comfortable beds with lights and a great pool. Staff were lovely.

I liked the staff and the location. It is very close to everything (beaches, shops, bars, restaurants and so on). Nice neighbourhood and nice organisation.
