Please note that according to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990 minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorisation for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorisation must be notarised and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarised copies of their IDs.All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents. In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarised authorisation signed by the absent parent, along with a notarised copy of that parent's ID.When travelling with pets, please note that we only accept dogs and cats and an extra charge of BRL 70 (70 reais) plus VAT per pet, per night applies. Please note that a maximum of 1 pet per room is allowed. Please note that the property can only allow pets with a maximum weight of 7 kilos. Please note that the vaccination card is mandatory.

The staff were excellent with great manner. They had at least member each shift who speak English fluently. Ms. Millerna was excellent and she helped me to book two full day trips and those were really fun. There was another gentleman (sorry I forgot his name who used to work for a cruise company and been to Alaska few times) was very helpful as well. Entire staff were excellent! I recommend and will come back to this hotel if I go back to Rio, Brazil.

On arrival the staff were very helpful and informative. The online check in is excellent and makes it easier for all parties. My room was very large, which was very airy and comfortable. It had all the essentials. It was very quiet with no outside noise. Breakfast was very good, with a huge selection of produce. The cakes were too good and it was very hard to resist. The hotel is ideally located in de Lapa area with the night life close by.

The price-hotel ratio is acceptable and the service is friendly, but the location in the neighborhood is not good.Breakfast is acceptable although it could be improved.

The staff was really helpful! The airline lost my luggage and they only spoke Portuguese. Thanks to Silvio, Andreza, Millena and Mati I got my luggage back after 4 days of chasing the airline! But they helped me with all kinds of stuff, not only the luggage :) there is a lot to improve about the hotel itself, but the staff was perfect!!!

Very nice people at the desk. Andreza, Ana Beatriz and Silvio, particularly, made my stay very friendly. Confortable room in a quiet area and in a central location (cathedral and Selaron staircase at 5 minutes by feet).

Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast. Comfortable beds, great air con, good hot shower, free coffee and cold water available in the evenings in reception.
