The hosts are amazing and hospitable people, they made us super comfortable in their home and they make breakfast themselves. View from the room is a no match and in a very safe neighbourhood. Definitely will be returning to Casa Verde !

Outstanding space to relax and lovely hosts (Mauricio & Stuart) who have a wealth of information to help plan your days in Rio. The house is very nice and in a beautiful area. Easy to get in and out with a car, but also possible to grab a car service to get to from/to the airport, the beach or different parts of town; also to the closest trails up the road, including the Tijuca National Park. Our room was impressive, with a very comfortable bed, a good shower and a hammock to relax outdoors. Breakfast was perfect, apart from fruit/granola, eggs and cold meats, Mauricio bakes really nice cakes.

Lovely hosts who gave us lots of advice. We were upgraded to a large and very comfortable room. We felt very welcome. Beautiful home and swimming pool. Delicious cakes :)

We felt like we had our own villa in Rio. Stuart and Mauricio did not skimp on anything, from the cleanliness of the property, to the delicious breakfasts, to the thoughtful itinerary guides. We also enjoyed spending time with their three lovely dogs. Above all, we were captivated by the natural beauty surrounding this house.
