The fine print
According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorisation for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorisation must be notarised and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarised copies of their IDs.All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents.In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarised authorisation signed by the absent parent, along with a notarised copy of that parent´s ID.Please note the hotel does not accept third part credit cards for payment. The credit card holder needs to be the guest.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The rooftop view is amazing and the gym equipment is surprisingly good compared with the rest of the hotel facilities. The breakfast was ok, nothing special, but it wasn't bad.

Good hotel located in Copacabana, nice staff, room, bathroom and air conditioned were OK. Fantastic breakfast. Little pool and solarium on the rooftop. Tour service offered at the desk.

Great location just a couple of minutes walk from Copacabana beach, friendly staff, good breakfast, pool looked great although we didn't use it!

Everything! Location was perfect and within walking distance to all amenities- beach, restaurants, supermarkets, 150m from the metro. Staff were fabulous. Bed was very comfortable. Rooms very clean. Breakfast good! Great value for money.

Despite the fact that some things are outdated and in need of repair (switches, water taps, door handles, etc.) the hotel is in excellent condition. The location is just perfect, five minutes walk from Posto 5 at Copacabana beach. There are many shops, bars, restaurants, cambios nearby. Victor and Ricardo are the best receptionists I have ever met! You guys are amazing! Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff speaking good English.
