Lovely old building with lots of character. It was cosy, the food was great & at a reasonable price. Ample parking. Easy to find.

Location was great for us as we have family in the town. The room was independent from the pub at ground level and it was quiet and near the car-park. It was comfortable enough but the wooden hanging space for coats was awkwardly placed by the bed... Old-fashioned bathroom facilities with shower over bath and curtain but clean. It as warm and cosy though. Breakfast available in the pub was average but staff very friendly
