I recommend this place if you are young and Like to make new friends, I was there during the weekend and the hostel made an event to go to drink and dance, it was so fun so I would definitely go there again. Also it's very close to a shopping mall and other famous attractions.

Welcomed with a big smile and a shot! We were offered to join a group pub crawl where the host organised everyone and got them all together, making sure no one was left behind and that everyone mingled. We had a great night out and met lots of interesting people from all over the world.

This is the perfect hostel whether you're just looking to explore Riga or if you're looking to have a bit more of a party. I came as a solo traveller and was amazed by how helpful the staff are. They make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive and give you SO MANY recommendations on what to see and do in Riga (big shout-out to Darts, she knows everything about Riga!) While I was planning to have a more relaxed time, the social events they run in the evening are good fun, but not too over the top. Definitely check out the bar with Latvian dancing. The hostel itself was perfectly clean and very nice inside. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable, and it's great to be able to get a Latvian beer right there. The location is also great, just 5 minutes from the bus and train station and a stone's throw from the old town. Overall, a great place to stay, and I highly recommend it!

1. Super welcoming & helpful staff. 2. Social environment and they organize social activities like beer tasting, pub crawl etc. 3. Very fast wifi all over 4. Super near to bus station - 7 min walk. 5. Walking distance to all main attractions. 6. Surrounded by super store, restaurant, pubs etc 7. Super clean and well stocked toilets & bathrooms. 8. Good & Fast laundry service

This hostel is one of the best I’ve ever been in. Staff were amazing and really dod allow for some fond memories to be made. I will 100% return when I come back to Latvia. I would not change a thing. Many thanks to those at naughty squirrel!

I had the private room with on-suite room itself is lovely however there are sinks right outside the door, so you do get some noise from that. Other than that room is clean and comfortable

I traveled out of season and to be honest I knew it wasn't realistic to expect much, but the experience has been amazing. I shared a room with two guys who had been so kind to me and ensured I never felt alone. Oliver and Saiid you have given me memories for life, it being only my second solo trip so I was very apprehensive of strangers, but interaction with either of you never felt forced and I felt like we'd known one another for years. In terms of staff, every single host I came across was approachable, polite and friendly, with advice on literally anything I wanted to know. I regret not booking for longer! Facilities I've always found to be clean and other guests not a problem. Thought that because alcohol is served there that they would overcharge, however for a place in the old town they are very reasonable with it (ask for Latvian Cherry liqueur with sprite if you're familiar with the taste of Ribena, it's almost identical!) for €4 or 3 for 10. I could go on and on about this place but if you have any doubt please just book a night and see how it goes... Preferably a weekend, better nightlife and proper pub crawls!
