It is approx 10 minutes walk from the central market and 5 minutes walk to a tram stop (7). The area feels safe but a solo woman might feel a bit exposed walking back in the late evening as the location is quiet. The room had great views and was equipped with fridge and kettle. The hotel food was good, plenty for breakfast, and for us the price for 4 nights b&b was perfect. We had been bothered by previous reviews about rowdy stag night behaviour but while the hotel was busy and at least one stag night was in, we heard nothing in our room and it was very peaceful.

Big room with double bed ,warm in the room , enough tv channels to watch . Good breakfast in the morning .Not far from the central bus station,market walking maybe takes about 10 min

Best value for money! Position is really good if you are planning to use buses or train. It's 11-15 mins walk to bus station/train station. The girl that checked me in gave a good piece of advice when I asked her about traditional Latvian restaurants. She advised Lido and I ended up eating there for 3 days: good quality, affordable prices, quick and tasty!(Self-service). The hotel faces also nice peaceful church. Breakfast has more cold cuts/eggs stuff than sweets, but is ok too. I'm satisfied. Thank you for good stay!

Everithing was exelent. Expecialy Large Number Room and serivice. Specialy tnx for nice price and great service. Also Very Tasty Sweeden table . On Hotel i rate all exelent and i recomend to all visit this Hanza Hotel on Elias street 7

The room was fantastic with a great atmosphere, excellent cleanliness, and well-equipped amenities. The beds were comfortable, making the stay even more enjoyable. and I was thrilled to receive a free room upgrade, which made my experience even more memorable. While the breakfast was decent, it didn’t quite reach the level of excellence, but overall, I had a very satisfying stay. 20 mins away from the airport by car

The location is walking distance to the bus station and city center. I requested for twin beds and got 2 double beds with a great view of the church bell tower. Breakfast has a lot of options. Coffee is great!

Hanza Hotel provides great value for accommodation in Riga. It is located slightly outside of the city centre - but it isn't a particularly long walk away. It is actually located right by the Latvian Academy of Sciences building! The surrounding street is used by driving schools for teaching learner drivers - this will explain the number of cars and people milling around outside near the hotel! The rooms are a bit outdated, but it appears as though they are in the process of updating them. Breakfast was perfectly adequate.
