Hostel Overview

Situated in the Riga Old Town, Amber Rooms offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi, 150 metres from Daugava River and the Dome Square.
Rooms are bright and feature minimalist design. They share bathroom facilities and access to a common kitchenette with a kettle, a toaster, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Every bed comes with an individual power socket. Common ironing facilities are provided.

The staff was friendly, you can leave your luggage. we left it in the morning and picked it late night without additional costs as we had a late night flight. The breakfast is self service and you can make yourself whatever you want.

Amber Private Rooms is located in Riga’s old city within walking distance of the main museums, train and bus stations. It provides well priced simple accommodation (with shared bathrooms) which is a step above a hostel. The all day well stocked breakfast is a bonus.

This is a good place to stay. The location is very convenient, close to the city center and tourist attractions. The room was clean, and the staff was helpful. A big plus was the availability of food in the kitchen 24 hours a day, though the variety could be better. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped. There was an additional separate toilet, although it did not have a sink. A good place for an affordable and comfortable stay.

“Amazing trip for a small family!”

A family of three, we stayed in the studio apartment and we had an amazing stay! The breakfast was included, a stocked fridge, and we were asked what else we needed, the staff was very polite and helpful. The place of the hotel is very convenient, right in the old town, but the station and city center is near. We will definitely be back!
