The location is wonderful. Loved the town of Richmond. We stayed here 5 nights and drove around. Just 20 minutes from Hobart airport and 20 minutes into Hobart town too. Lots of beautiful drives in the area. We didnt do wine tastings but saw many beautiful orchards and cellar doors all around the area. The cottage itself is very beautiful with old world charm but modern comforts. I loved the Chinaware, which had so much more character than the plain white crockery we usually get in other places. This cottage is on the main road, so within easy reach of main attractions as well as lovely cafes.

So cosy and rustic easy walk up the main street to the shops and cafes in gorgeous Richmond village. Highly recommend this place to travellers

The cottage was so comfortable. Like from another time, but with still all the comforts. The bathtub was HEAVENLY!!! We fell asleep IN the bath. I don't recommend falling asleep in it as I ended up as a prune lol. The host was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed chatting to her and she was the most warm and interesting woman. We told her all our plans as then stay was booked as a surprise thing for my partners birthday. I don't think there would be any possible way she could have been more accommodating. The bed we slept in was very, very comfy and the pillows were GREAT. I brought a backup pillow just in case because most places I've stayed at had rather iffy pillows but I didn't even have to get my backup pillow out of the car. The surrounding area was so serene and lovely too with lots to see and many cute places to spend time together. We will be going there again, it might just become our new tradition!!

Close to everything in Richmond. Very pleasant and helpful host with recommendations for wineries, food etc. We had the choice of a modern cottage or the older rustic one. We selected the rustic one and it was very homely.
