Staff were very friendly and helpful. The place had a nice atmosphere and we didn't feel uncomfortable around locals. Good room, warm and comfortable.

Nice friendly staff and locals .Made to feel welcome, and the dog was spoilt with treats and tickles. Breakfast was very tasty and the dog enjoyed his breakfast sausage too. Also went for food at the sister pub The Turf - lovely food and friendly staff and customers. Nice to be able to take the dog on holiday and to feel so comfortable.
