Lovely ladies are working there! It wasn't hard to communicate even if they don't speak english. Clean and very nice room. Comfortable bed. And all just goood. Excellent breakfast with lots of choises. Clean and fresh pool was just perfect after long hiking day. Biggest recommendations to this place!

Fernanda & Emmanuella and their staff were really kind warm and welcoming. They have a beautiful swimming pool with sunbeds around it to relax and enjoy the magnificent vibrant coloured flowers, shrubs and trees in the grounds. Extra towels were offered for us to lie outside on. Breakfast was outside in a covered area where little birds flew on and out. Lots of options with juice, fresh fruit, cold meat, cheese with bread rolls and cooked omelettes and various sweet and savoury treats. I expected not to be happy about sharing a bathroom but it was like we had our own bathroom as close as in a hotel and we never saw the people who we apparently shared it with. So don't be put off by the shared bathroom. We had about a 7 minute walk to have dinner out in local restaurant, Bellcantoo in Ribiera Grande. We were allowed to swim in the pool and sit around until well past checkout time as we had a taxi booked for 2pm. Wonderful hospitality.

Great little guest house in Ribeira Grande with comfortable rooms and a nice pool area. I really liked the location. It is a little outside of the city center and therefore very quiet, but just 10 min walking distance to the shops, restaurants and taxis. As a female solo traveller I felt very safe and comfortable here. Unfortunately I had to leave very early and missed the breakfast.

Very good value for money, the bathroom was shared only with another room which was empty so I had it for myself. Staff helped with a couple of random requests I had very easily. The pool is very refreshing and was clean when I was there.
