Even though I was a hotel guest, I was turned away twice because there were no seats at the rooftop bar. Most of the guests seemed to be there only for the bar, not as hotel guests. I was very disappointed that there was no benefit to spending a lot of money to stay there. The conversation was not good and the guests were not very classy, which made the hotel's image worse.

Eleanor assisted us with both check-in and check-out, and she was absolutely fantastic—extremely helpful both times. The rest of the staff were just as polite, friendly, and accommodating. We also had the chance to experience their spa, which was amazing. The breakfast was delicious, whether from the buffet or à la carte.

Spa facilities a great. Staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly/helpful and go the extra mile. The food is expensive but worth it. Excellent location in Reykjavik too.

This hotel is perfect for a short but special trip to Reykjavík. The location makes it super easy for connecting transport to the airport, excursions and the city. It was a piece of tranquility that helped us to feel relaxed while also packing in a lot of sight-seeing. The variety of bars and cafes all within the hotel were so convenient for any plans while feeling very luxurious. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful property. Clean and minimalistic. Very close to bus stop 5 and local tourist spots. Amazing staff!
