great location, starting point for exploring the city, close to the main bus station and the point where tourist buses depart. Self check-in. I recommend especially for a few days stay.

Incredible host (Ingis) who is very helpful with tips for our stay. Such a charming building with good culture overall. Well signed and wonderfully stocked kitchen - with free tea and coffee (from a machine!) and including free food from past travellers. Computer for use if needed. Big focus on sustainability, which I love!

The staff is nice. The owners, two brothers, are helpful and nice. The price does seem too much, but you can't expect any less in Iceland. The breakfast (5€) is extremely basic (cereals, one or two types of jam, cheese slices, and bread), but coffee and tea are included. The place is pretty close to the city center and quiet, but around it, there's nothing at all

The owner Fredrik, was lovely and very helpful as an autistic young female travelling alone I was a little worried and overwhelmed however fredrik made sure everything was straight forward easy and comfortable for me there was nothing that overwhelmed me it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience and I will definitely be booking igdlo guesthouse again and recommend it entirely all the staff was super polite and friendly, the home was clean and all facilities were well kept and homely I don’t have breakfast due too being out early most days but plenty tea and coffee food/breakfast looked and smelt beautiful though, for free able too wash clothes and dry no extra charge really was a great place too stay and also very easy and memorable walking into the centre and attractions in the area

Walking distance to the city. Free parking in the nearby residential area. Convenient to reach by car or bus from the airport. Shared kitchen with room for cooking.

The property is great, quite basic but still has a warm, homely feel. The staff are brilliant and very helpful.
