The host Elsa was really lovely, great communication and even messaged us during the trip to let us know the Northern Lights were really strong so we wouldn't miss them! The apartment was really nice too, super clean, amazing location and we arrived to cute heart shaped biscuits and a welcome.note from Elsa. Those little things are always so nice when you arrive somewhere!

Fabulous location that was a 10 minute walk from wherever we needed to be, yet felt like it was in a quiet part of the city. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed and more. So glad we found it and would recommend it to others looking to stay in Reykjavik

Location of this property was amazing, and the host was really friendly. A handy booklet was left with loads of recommendations of things to see and places to eat.

Yes, the floorboards are creaky and you can hear people walking around on other floors (it's really not loud), however this is part of the magic of the property. Absolute stunning and my wife and I agreed this was the BEST apartment we have ever stayed in. The bed is very comfortable (2 singles made into a double which was no problem), lovely kitchen with a range of cooking equipment and a stunning unique living area. The shower is great and the bathroom is fully kitted with everything you need. Small things like adding extra virgin olive oil and good quality salt (amongst many other additions) shows the extra step was taken to make the experience of staying a very comfortable and enjoyable one. Very easy to dry clothes after a day out which was important. 10/10 recommend, fantastic location too.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay, we have loved staying here it has become like a second home to us and we are very sad to be leaving! Iceland is such a beautiful country and we are so glad it was made even more magical by your beautiful home! Elsa was an amazing host and kept in touch with us throughout the stay. She made sure the house felt like a home with lots of extra touches and we are very grateful!

The property is located very centrally, and everything is reachable in 5 min walk. It is a unique old fisherman house with a beautiful and warm ambient. The house was equipped with all essentials in the kitchen and the bathroom, and towels and linen.
