Lovely but basic hotel. Good value of money, very comfortable bed. About 15 min walk into town. Very nice complimentary cake and coffee in the afternoon

Hotel was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Being located a little further out of Reykjavik meant it was quiet but easy to walk to all venues we wanted to see in around half an hour, or walk 5 minutes to the bus stop. Staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was ever too much trouble and we really enjoyed chatting with them. Lovely to come back to unlimited hot drinks and freshly baked cake in the afternoons. Good amount of choice for breakfast and buffet stations replenished regularly.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, one of the best points of the hotel. The room was big enough, warm and comfortable. The breakfast is good, with nice breads and cereals. And it was also super nice to have coffee and cake during the day/evening. All cakes were delicious!!!

All very good - except the door need to be fixed on the room … very difficult to open and close . Otherwise very good stay- and free cake and coffee in the evening was a lovely touch 👍

Our room had an excellent view. The lady who checked us in was a great ambassador for the hotel and told us everything we needed to know. Coffee and cake at 5 was a nice touch and breakfast was delicious.
