The breakfast was excellent and very generous. The atmosphere in the hotel was warm and friendly. The history of the hotel and its art were fascinating. The hotel was cosy and a welcome haven from the cold of Reykjavik.

The location is great, very convenient to walk to shopping street and the church. The staff is friendly and responsive. The hotel looks ok, quite old design. Having its own free parking is a plus.

Lovely hotel, great location for easy walk into main streets. Nice ambience throughout the hotel and a warm, inviting atmosphere with the various lobby rooms. Friendly, helpful desk staff too.
