1. The position is central and good for those who want to live in town. Walking distance from all the main attractions and the port. 2. The appartments are totally new and well equipped. Very nice design and quality furtinure 3. The bed is comfortable. 4. Bathroom is very nice and have fine accessories. Good quality bathroom gels and shampoos. There is steam room if somebody likes to use, I didnt try as its already hot in summer. 5. There are beach towels in the room and its great. 6. Upon request if you have a room with balcony you can have a dryer for the clothes. 7. It is very quiet and has privacy. 8. Just walking straight you can find Skrik cafe or Jardin cafe in the park for delicious breakfast or use your own well equipped kitchen. 9. The Host is polite and helpful. 10. There is an AC in the room, so on very hot days you can make it fresh.

The appartement was spacious, clean, well equipped, perfectly located and the host met us to hand over the keys, was available for questions throughout our stay and made sure the appartement was cleaned twice while we were there (and we only stayed for 1 week). I would most definitely recommend Casa del Balsamo to anyone traveling to Rethymno!!

Lovely apartment with everything we needed for three of us for a 2 night stay. Comfortable beds, very clean and amenities provided. Beautifully decorated. Dimitri was a wonderful host, very helpful. Fabulous location in the heart of Rethymno Old town yet very quiet. There is even a roof terrace!

Large room, very comfortable - for 3 adults. Excellent kitchen and well-stocked ... we didn't use the kitchen; we ate out. We loved the steam room! Used it every night. Liked the balcony, but we didn't use it much; we were out all day and just went to our room at night. Towels were nice and soft. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. They helped carry out heavy luggage out to the main street where one could pick up a taxi.

Nice, bright, well-lighted room. Nice lights on the stairs. Steam bath was used every night! Kitchen is very nice. Nice amenities: bathrobes, slippers, nice soft towels I liked the adjoining balcony. Bathroom set-up is very nice. Dimitris was very helpful with our luggage and he had such a pleasant personality. Someone helped us get the aircon going ... we didn't understand that all windows had to be closed for it to turn on.

We only stayed for two nights and in hindsight we should have stayed our whole Crete stay there! We were shocked when we got in at how big the room was, it was like a house with balcony, living room, kitchen, everything! Bathroom was big too and the shower was awesome. We checked in late and the host made all the arangements so it was super easy.

Very comfortable bed. Everything you need is on the property. Great shower, good kitchen facilities and lovely seating area. It is in a great part of the old town near everything.
