The city view from the balcony was perfect. The attention by the host - Giannis - was simply superb. He gave us home made cookies and cakes. He responds to texts immediately. We will definitely be back.

Great position, very clean and the host was so friendly. He welcomed us with raki and his mama’s cake, which was absolutely delicious. I loved eating on the terrance on one of the main pedestrian streets.

We were greeted by lovely Giannis, who ensured our stay was perfect with home baked cake, raki & red wine. We love a morning coffee, so it was great to have plenty of coffee supplied for our four mornings (filter machine). Giannis & his wife went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Very positive, kind, and happy to share his love for his hometown. What a special place this is. The room was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the patio to get out of the midday heat whilst watching the world go by. The position within the old town, right beside the old mosque (silent as not for worshipping), with views to the mountains, was very special. Close to restaurants, shops, and all the top spots, including the incredible fort and an easy walk if arriving by bus. We highly recommend staying here - 👌

Wonderful location and view of the old town. Really good to have an extra room - mum and a teenage boy - we had plenty of space. Easy to walk to free parking locations. Plenty of good places to eat nearby. A new property that is well looked after and cared for. We are very happy that we stayed there.

Polyxenia Suites was hands down the best place we stayed in our month long holiday in Greece and Turkey. The room was large, well appointed, light filled and positioned overlooking a vibrant street. The balcony was a treat at the end of the day watching the passing parade, and the double glazed windows made it quiet at night. Our host Giannis has not missed one detail in his presentation. From the wine, home made cake and raki he offers at the beginning of the stay to the comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. It felt luxurious and was so relaxing to stay there. Giannis also went beyond the call of duty with any recommendations or questions we had. We loved our time there and will be back.

This is a lovely family-run hotel. Giannis, the owner, was incredibly kind and very helpful with any questions we had. He called us a taxi and even took us to the pick-up spot with our luggage. We would definitely book Polyxenia Suites again!

Great location in the heart of old town. Sound proofing adequate for the busyish street, but no way as busy or noisy as Chania. Great views from the top balcony. Host was very friendly and generous, and present each day in the middle of the day (which is refreshing compared to the hands of style apartments). Host even met us personally at 22:00 to get us checked in and settled on the first night. Can't recommend enough if you want something alternative to a hotel, but knowing someone will be around at some point each day.

excellent host so friendly and welcoming...property should be a 5 star in my mind...it is in the centre of activity right beside an open square and right below all the restaurants and shops...lovely balcony on 2 sides which was great for early morning coffee and at night to watch the activity below

Our host was fantastic! He helped us settle into the apartment with a sweet and local raki! The apartment has beautiful views over the local area and beyond. it suited our group of 3 middle aged ladies who like comfort.
